Ryan Day leads the way following the opening day of action in Group Two of the 2017 Championship League at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on Wednesday.
The Welshman, who reached the final of Group One on Tuesday, won all three of his matches to sit top of the second group at the halfway mark.
It looked like Day was set to get off to a losing start on the third day of the internet-streamed invitational event when he trailed 2-0 against Mark Davis, who enjoyed back-to-back runs of 66.
However, having been pegged back from 2-0 up to lose 3-2 against David Gilbert in the Group One final, the 36-year-old enjoyed the turnaround on this occasion - making breaks of 73, 50 and 56 to snatch a narrow win.
He followed that up with contributions of 54 and 61 on the way to a 3-1 success over Anthony McGill, before a top run of 99 aided his comprehensive 3-0 whitewash of Matthew Selt in the final match of the day.
Elsewhere, world number seven Neil Robertson marked the start of his campaign with two wins from his opening three matches - a record matched by Davis - while McGill and Selt each won two of their four games.
However, Michael White has it all to do after losing all four matches on Wednesday, while two-time world champion Mark Williams claimed a single victory from his first three outings in the competition.
