There is everything to play for on the second day of Group Two in the 2017 Championship League, with just two points separating six players at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

The nine remaining round-robin matches will commence from 11am GMT on Thursday with the top four players advancing to the play-offs, where the winner from a straight knock-out format will join David Gilbert in the Winners' Group, while the bottom two will be relegated from the competition.

Ryan Day leads the way in Group Two
Ryan Day was the pacesetter on Wednesday after winning each of his three matches, but will have to overcome the likes of Neil Robertson and Mark Williams in order to maintain his unbeaten record on day two.

The Group One finalist should seal a return to the Play-Offs with a single victory from his three games, but will not take anything for granted in his bid to go one step better this time around.

Meanwhile, Robertson is in strong contention after winning two of his three matches on the opening day in Group Two, as is 2015 runner-up Mark Davis, while Anthony McGill and Matthew Selt also registered a couple of wins to their name on Wednesday.

Elsewhere, Mark Williams has some catching up to do after collecting just one win of a possible three on day one.

The two-time world champion earned just under £22,000 for his efforts during last season's competition, but will need to up his game considerably in order to repeat those feats here.

Fellow Welshman, Michael White has it all to do, though, after losing all four games so far, and will more than likely for hoping for one or two favours in other matches to have any chance of staying in the competition.

Play gets underway at 11am GMT on Thursday with all matches being contested over the best of five frames at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

The top four will advance to the Play-Offs, where the winner will progress to the Winners' Group in the 2017 Championship League.
