Neil Robertson headlines the action as he makes his bow in the 2017 Championship League on Wednesday, while Mark Williams and Michael White also join the action in Group Two at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
The three players will compete with Ryan Day, Mark Davis, Anthony McGill and Matthew Selt for the right to join David Gilbert in the Winners' Group, as the internet-streamed invitational event continues.
World number seven Robertson, whose best run in the competition saw him reach the semi-finals in 2010, begins his campaign with an attractive opening match against Williams.
The Australian has withdrawn in the early stages in each of the last two years but, eager to build momentum ahead of the Masters, he is unlikely to do so for a third time with snooker's most prestigious non-ranking event just around the corner.

Williams, who is also set to appear at the Ally Pally in just under two weeks' time, will be hoping for another impressive showing in the Championship League, having reached the semi-finals and collected just under £22,000 in 2016.
Meanwhile, the two-time world champion's fellow Welshman, White, is looking to make it third time lucky in the best-of-five format, and reach the Winners' Group for the first time.
Elsewhere, Group One runner-up Day launches his quest to go the extra step, having been pegged back from 2-0 up to be edged out 3-2 by Gilbert on Tuesday, while semi-finalists Davis and McGill will be aiming for another strong run and Selt shall target the Play-Offs after narrowly missing out last time out.
Play gets underway at 11am GMT on Wednesday with all matches being contested over the best of five frames in Group Two of the 2017 Championship League at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
