Three matches are to be played on Thursday, following the postponement of week six in Penzance due to the suspension of Stephen Lee and the action begins an hour earlier, with the Guildford crowd set to be treated to a feast of quick-fire snooker.

The opening match of the night sees Stuart Bingham step out for the first of his two crucial matches, starting against world number one Mark Selby.

Bingham has his fate in his own hands, as come the end of the night, he will have completed his Group A fixtures and could potentially seal a play-off place.

The man known as 'Ball Run' has taken three points from his two games so far, meaning he is yet to taste defeat in his debut league campaign, unlike Selby, who is yet to pick up a point so far.

The Jester's fate could also be sealed tonight, with the Leicester star in desperate need of a convincing win to keep his slim play-off hopes alive following two poor showings in previous weeks.

A 5-1 thrashing from Neil Robertson was proceeded by a patchy display a fortnight ago in a 4-2 defeat against Ding Junhui, with Selby seemingly unable to transfer his promising European Tour form to the star-studded Premier League.

World number two Judd Trump then takes on world number three John Higgins in a mouth-watering re-run of their epic Shanghai Masters final a month ago.

The duo were involved in one of the game's most memorable finals just a month ago, with Higgins staging an incredible comeback from 7-2 down to edge out the youngster 10-9 in a last frame decider.

Higgins also produced a maximum 147 during his finest hour in Shanghai, but will be wary of Trump's quest for revenge this time around, in a format which suits the attacking young sensation down to the ground.

Both players sit on two points, with just one of their victories standing after all matches involving Stephen Lee were declared void and competition for the two play-off places in Group B is higher than ever in what is now a four-man group.

Both Trump and Higgins possess astute tactical awareness and a clinical attacking edge, something which should make for another thrilling encounter this evening.

Two players with unbeaten records clash to round off the night as Neil Robertson takes on Stuart Bingham in a tasty Group A fixture.

Victory for either player could see them place one foot in November's play-offs, while the other may be left to battle it out for the other spot among three other top quality stars.

Masters champion Robertson has taken maximum points from his two games so far, defeating Mark Selby 5-1 and Shaun Murphy 4-2 and has looked at ease in front of the bumper crowds and pressurised format.

The left-handed Australian picked up the Gdynia Open title just over a fortnight ago and has looked in superb form so far this season, making him a potential contender for a maiden Premier League crown.

Bingham comes up against the 2010 World Champion in the last of his two matches in week seven and has his fate in his own hands, as come the end of the night, he will have completed his Group A fixtures and could potentially seal a play-off place, or be eliminated from the running.

Action begins at 6.30pm BST, with all matches being streamed live online over a total of six frames from the Guildford Spectrum, Guildford.
