The revamped competition features eight former major champions and four qualifiers vying for the £10,000 top prize and a place in the first qualifying round of the Betfred
Having previously been staged by the WPBSA, the tournament is now overseen by the Snooker Legends organisation and is open exclusively to non-tour professionals over the age of 40.
Seven-time World Champion Stephen Hendry MBE leads the line-up as he marks his return to competitive action with the aim to attempting to secure a return to the Crucible for the first time since retiring in 2012.
The other seeds are comprised of 1980 World Champion Cliff Thorburn, 1991 World Champion John Parrott, 1985 World Champion Dennis Taylor, 1986 World Champion Joe Johnson, 1977 UK Champion Patsy Fagan, two-time ranking event winner Tony Knowles and 1985 Classic champion Willie Thorne.
Qualifiers include 2009 UK Championship quarter-finalist Peter Lines, 2001 World Championship quarter-finalist Patrick Wallace, Aiden Owens and Jonathan Bagley.
The tournament, in association with Betstars
, runs from March 22-24 at the Baths Hall in Scunthorpe, with First Round, Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals to be contested over the best of five frames and the final best of seven.
A 30-second shot clock will be in operation, with players permitted two 'time-outs' per match. If the scores are tied at 2-2 or 3-3, the match will be decided by a re-spotted black.
