Jack Lisowski looks to record a first competitive victory over Neil Robertson when the pair collide in the Semi-Finals of the 2018 International Championship in Daqing on Saturday.

Lisowski has enjoyed a superb start to the season, reaching at least the Quarter-Final stage in five of seven ranking tournament appearances to move within sight of a place in the world's top 16.

Currently ranked 21, Lisowski's best run to date came in July's Riga Masters - where he was denied his first ranking silverware by Neil Robertson in the final.

The 27-year-old now has the opportunity to gain his revenge and move a step closer to securing the £175,000 top prize this weekend.

Robertson has won through to his second International Championship Semi-Final, having finished runner-up in the inaugural staging six years ago.

Like Lisowski, the Australian ace has produced some sublime snooker en route to the penultimate stage, including a thrilling 6-4 victory over Mark Selby in the Quarter-Finals - ending the defending champion's 18-match unbeaten run in this competition.

Prior to that, Robertson began his charge with a 6-1 rout of Matthew Selt, before edging out his practice partner Joe Perry in a last-frame decider and seeing off young prospect Yuan Sijun 6-4 in the Last 16.

Lisowski's run to only a second major Semi-Final began with a commanding 6-1 win over Chris Wakelin before defeating Marco Fu 6-3 and edging past Martin Gould in a last-frame decider.

He then sent home his stablemate Judd Trump following an impressive 6-2 triumph in the Last Eight which he rounded off with a century in the final frame.

Robertson has compiled six centuries so far this week to Lisowski's five, and the duo look set to serve up a high-scoring classic in only their third competitive meeting.

Their best of 17 Semi-Final gets underway from 6am GMT for a total of eight frames before resuming to a conclusion from 11.30am.

Reigning Masters Champion Mark Allen awaits the winner in Sunday's final after he defeated Matthew Stevens 9-6 on Friday.
