The tenth edition of the Shanghai Masters takes place at the Grand Stage this week, and you can stay up to speed with all of the latest results and fixtures here.

The prestigious world ranking event celebrates a decade as a regular fixture on the snooker calendar with 32 of the world's top players battling it out for £465,000 in prize money.

No player has ever managed to claim this title on more than one occasion, with a further eight different players having finished runner-up since the first staging of the event back in 2007.

Kyren Wilson picked up his first career major at this venue 12 months ago courtesy of a thrilling 10-9 victory over Judd Trump in the final, making him the lowest ranked champion in the process.

This year, the Shanghai Masters will feature the return of Ronnie O'Sullivan, the 2009 champion, as he makes his first ranking event appearance of the 2016-17 season.

O'Sullivan is joined by the likes of two-time Shanghai runner-up Trump, 2012 champion John Higgins, World Champion Mark Selby and home hero Ding Junhui - the 2013 champion - in the star-studded line-up.

Qualifiers include UK Championship runner-up Liang Wenbo and previous ranking event winners Michael White, Anthony McGill, Martin Gould and Stephen Maguire.

The tournament runs from September 19-25 at the Grand Stage in Shanghai, China. All matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals are to be contested over the best nine frames, with Semi-Finals best of 11 and the final best of 19.
