Live Snooker on Friday: China Open Qualifiers 2017 - Day Four preview and order of play

Former champion Stephen Maguire headlines the final day of action when he takes on Thailand's Boonyarit Keattikun in the 2017 China Open Qualifiers at the Preston Guild Hall.

There are 11 matches to look forward to on Friday, when the 64-man field will be completed ahead of the final stages in Beijing in March.

World number 25 Maguire, who lifted this trophy nine years ago, will be hoping this is the start of his surge back into the top 16 before the final cut-off point for the World Championship in April.

Ironically, it was a strong run to the semi-finals in Beijing that secured his Crucible berth last year, and he is eyeing a case of deja vu 12 months on.

The Scotsman will be a heavy favourite to advance to the final stages against Keattikun, who was won just one match in ranking events since joining the tour last May.

That came in the German Masters Qualifiers before Christmas, but a victory here would undoubtedly be the biggest of the 21-year-old's career so far.

There are two other top-32 players on display on Friday as world number 20 David Gilbert faces Kurt Dunham, while Alan McManus is up against Chen Zhe.

Former finalist Jamie Cope, who was runner-up in 2007, takes on Rod Lawler, as Matthew Stevens locks horns with Josh Boileau.

Meanwhile, Joe Swail and Andrew Higginson face Paul Davison and Christoper Keogan respectively, and Jimmy Robertson clashes with Cao Yupeng.

The rest of the action includes an all-Chinese clash between Li Hang and Fang Xiongman, while Alfie Burden and Akani Songsermsawad face off in a battle of the left-handers and Robin Hull plays Gareth Allen.

Play at the Preston Guild Hall gets underway at 10am GMT on Friday with all matches being contested over the best of nine frames, and the winners advancing to the final stages of the 2017 China Open.
