The qualifying stages of the 2018 Indian Open take place from August 15-16 at the Preston Guild Hall.

All main tour professionals are required to win one qualifying round match in order to secure their place in the world ranking event from September 18-22.

The tournament is the fourth ranking event of the 2018/19 season and offers a total prize fund of £325,000.

Last year's Indian Open was won by John Higgins after he defeated Anthony McGill 5-1 in the final.
