The 32-man line-ups for the 2016 World Grand Prix and Players Championship have been confirmed following the season’s final European Tour event in Poland.
The two televised ranking events both take place in March and feature an array of the world’s top stars vying for glory.
The Players Championship will take place at Event City in Manchester from March 22-27, with the line up comprising the top 24 players from the European Order of Merit, plus two from the Asian Tour and six more from a combination of the two Order of Merits.
Matthew Selt was the player squeezed out by Martin Gould following the Gdynia Open – which was the final tournament to count towards the respective Order of Merit.
The World Grand Prix runs from March 8-13 at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, with the top 32 players on a ranking list running from the start of the season having qualified.
Stephen Maguire clung on to the 32nd and last spot throughout the event in Poland. Andrew Higginson could have knocked him out by winning the tournament but lost 4-2 in the Semi-Finals to eventual winner Mark Selby.
The Grand Prix line-up notably includes newly-crowned Welsh Open champion and last year’s runner-up – Ronnie O’Sullivan – who has re-arranged an exhibition in Morocco in order to compete.
Reigning champion Judd Trump, World Champion Stuart Bingham, UK Champion Neil Robertson and world number one Mark Selby will also head to Venue Cymru.
