The fifth ranking event of the season sees the stars of the sport head to Yushan for the 2019 World Open, and you can follow all the latest results and fixtures here.

The £770,000 tournament features 64 of the world’s top players in action as they vie for the prestigious top prize in China.

The vast majority of the field sealed their place in the lucrative main event via the qualifying round in Barnsley earlier this month, while eight matches have been held over to the venue.

Mark Williams is the reigning champion after he defeated David Gilbert 10-9 in last year’s final, however the Welshman will not be on-hand to defend his title after opting out of this year’s tournament.

Ronnie O’Sullivan is making his first appearance in the World Open since 2010, while reigning World Champion Judd Trump is aiming to progress beyond the Quarter-Final stage of this tournament for the first time.

Ding Junhui, the 2017 champion, leads the home hopes alongside the likes of Liang Wenbo, Yan Bingtao, Xiao Guodong and Zhou Yuelong.

English Open champion Mark Selby is also among a star-studded field, alongside fellow former World Champions John Higgins, Stuart Bingham and Shaun Murphy and multiple ranking title winners Barry Hawkins, Mark Allen and Kyren Wilson.

The tournament runs from October 28 to November 3 in Yushan, China. All matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals are contested over the best of nine frames, with Semi-Finals best of 11 and the final best of 19.
