The qualifying phase of the 2018 China Championship takes place in Preston and you can watch the action streamed exclusively live online.

The tournament will be the fifth ranking event of the 2018/19 season and offers a lucrative total prize fund of £700,000.

All main tour professionals are required to win one qualifying round match in order to secure their place in the world ranking event from September 24-30.

Luca Brecel is the defending champion after he defeated Shaun Murphy 10-5 in last year’s final to become the first player from mainland Europe ever to win a major ranking event.

Brecel is among a clutch of players who will contest their qualifying match in China, as well as the likes of Mark Williams, Ding Junhui and Liang Wenbo.

World number one Mark Selby, four-time World Champion John Higgins, Mark Allen, Judd Trump and Neil Robertson are among the decorated stars in qualifying action in Preston.

The qualifiers are held from August 19-22 at the Preston Guild Hall, with selected matches from each session available to watch exclusively live on desktop or mobile devices in the UK and various other regions.
