The qualifying stages of the 2017 China Open take place in Preston this week, and you can follow all the latest results and fixture lists here.

The 18th ranking event of the season will feature 64 of the world’s top players battling it out in Beijing from March 27 to April 2.

All main tour professionals are required to win one qualifying round match in order to book their place in the main event, while a selection of ties are held over to the venue.

Heldover matches include defending champion Judd Trump’s meeting with Jason Weston, Ding Junhui’s clash with Sean O’Sullivan, Mark Selby against Adam Stefanow and Liang Wenbo versus Itaro Santos.

Notable names heading to Preston in a bid to reach the £500,000 major include Masters Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan and runner-up Joe Perry, John Higgins, Shaun Murphy and Stuart Bingham.

The qualifiers take place from January 24-27 at the Preston Guild Hall, with all matches to be contested over the best of nine frames.
