Kyren Wilson and Stuart Bingham completed the Quarter-Final line-up at the 2020 Masters after commanding 6-2 wins over Jack Lisowski and Mark Williams on Wednesday respectively.

Wilson, the 2018 Masters runner-up, reeled off six consecutive frames from 2-0 down to power past Lisowski, while Bingham recovered from 2-1 down with five in a row to dispatch two-time champion Williams.

Lisowski, who was beaten 6-1 by Ding Junhui on his Masters debut 12 months ago, settled quickly with successive breaks of 56 and 72 to clinch the first two frames.

Wilson got off the mark with a 66 break to halve the deficit before securing back-to-back low-scoring frames either side of the interval to edge ahead.

He then added breaks of 68, 67 and 70 to complete a dominant fightback and progress to the Last Eight at Alexandra Palace for the second time.

“I had a nasty one last year [losing to Judd Trump] and it’s tough getting into this tournament,” said Wilson.

“The first game is always the hardest and once you’ve got that one out of the way you settle.

“He just played flawless for two frames. I know Jack’s game very well and he’s dangerous when he’s like that.

“I’m delighted to get that win. It was a swift exit for me last year and I wanted to enjoy it this year but I still believe I’m here to win it.”

Lisowski conceded: “My top game is up there with, maybe, the top eight players but my B-game is like Selby’s Z-game.

“I’m still learning but my good game is coming and if I can play well all the time I think I’ll be alright.”

Wilson will now face Bingham in the Quarter-Finals on Friday after the 2015 World Champion swept aside a below-par Williams.

The duo exchanged half centuries the opening two frames before Williams dominated the third by 85 points to nil to move 2-1 in front.

Bingham took the fourth frame to draw level before asserting his authority with consecutive breaks of 76 and 86.

He then edged the seventh frame before wrapping up victory with a break of 54 to reach the Quarter-Finals of The Masters for only the second time in ten attempts.

“Obviously my record here isn’t the best, so every match is like a final for me,” said Bingham.

“I’ve played alright, a few little things here and there, but as the match went on I’ve grown a bit more in confidence.

“The top 16 in the world are here and they’re all here on merit. They’re all great players.

“If you don’t turn up you’ll get beaten.”
