Northern Ireland Open
The 2022 Northern Ireland Open returns to Belfast from October 16-23.
It will be the fourth ranking event of the season and part of the Home Nations Series.
Each player was required to win one qualifying round match in Wigan in August, with the exception of top 16 ranked players and three Northern Irish representatives – whose First Round matches have been held over to the Waterfront Hall.
Home favourite Mark Allen is the defending champion, having claimed the title for the first time courtesy of a 9-8 victory over John Higgins in last year’s final.
Judd Trump had claimed this title on three consecutive occasions from 2018-2020, incredibly all by 9-7 scorelines over Ronnie O’Sullivan in the final.
The decorated duo are among a star-studded field once again, alongside the likes of Neil Robertson, Mark Selby, Mark Williams, Kyren Wilson, Yan Bingtao and Jimmy White.
