Paul Hunter Classic

The tournament is named in honour of three-time Masters Champion Paul Hunter, whose life was tragically cut short in 2006 aged 27 after a battle with cancer.

Formerly a ranking event between 2016 and 2018, the Paul Hunter Classic has now been reverted back to non-ranking status as of 2019 and reduced from a field of 128 players to just 16.
