China Open Snooker 2019 Live Scores and Tournament Schedule
Snooker’s second £1 milllion tournament takes centre stage in Beijing this week, and you can follow all the latest results and fixture lists here.
The China Open is the first tournament outside of the World Championship to break the £1 million prize fund barrier and is a tantalising warm-up to the sport’s show-piece in Sheffield later this month.
A total of 64 players will battle it out for the £250,000 first prize in the 19th ranking event of the season which has been a regular on the snooker calendar for over 20 years.
Mark Selby is the reigning and three-time China Open champion, having defeated Barry Hawkins 11-3 in last year’s final.
This year’s star-studded line-up sees the likes of World Champion Mark Williams, Masters Champion Judd Trump, Welsh Open winner Neil Robertson and 2005 and 2014 winner Ding Junhui among the key title contenders.
The likes of John Higgins, Kyren Wilson, Stuart Bingham and Jack Lisowski will also have their sights set on the lucrative first prize.
The tournament runs from April 1-7 at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium in Beijing, with all matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals contested over the best of 11 frames, Semi-Finals best of 19 frames and the final best of 21.
