The German Masters returns to Berlin in 2022 and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.

The ninth ranking event of the season features 30 players competing for the £80,000 top prize at the Tempodrom from January 26-30.

Qualifying for the event took place in Cannock last October, with all players needing to win two matches in order to book their place in the main draw.

Judd Trump is the defending champion after he defeated Jack Lisowski 9-2 in last year’s final behind closed doors in Milton Keynes.

Trump, the number one seed, is bidding to become the first player to win three consecutive German Masters titles, having also triumphed in 2020.

Other former champions in action include Kyren Wilson, Mark Selby and Mark Williams, while Masters champion Neil Robertson is also on the hunt for further glory, alongside the likes of Northern Ireland Open champion Mark Allen and UK Champion Zhao Xintong.

Liang Wenbo and Gao Yang have withdrawn from the event, meaning Andrew Higginson and Judd Trump receive a bye into the Last 16.

All matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals are to be contested over the best of nine frames, with Semi-Finals best of 11 and the final best of 17.
