The top 16 players on the one-year list head to Southport for the 2020 Players Championship, and you can follow all the latest results and fixtures here.

The 14th ranking event of the season and the second part of the Coral Series sees the 16 highest ranked players on the one-year list battle it out from February 24 to March 1.

Ronnie O’Sullivan is the reigning and back-to-back Players Champion but will not be on hand to defend his title after finishing outside of the top 16 at the cut off.

O’Sullivan, who retained the title by making his 1,000th career century 12 months ago, was displaced from the top 16 by Michael Holt – courtesy of his Shoot-Out triumph on Sunday.

World Champion Judd Trump is seeded number one as he eyes a fifth ranking title of the season, while last year’s runner-up Neil Robertson is targeting his third ranking title of 2020.

The likes of Mark Selby, Shaun Murphy, Ding Junhui, John Higgins and Kyren Wilson will also have their sights set on the £125,000 top prize.

The tournament runs from February 24 to March 1 at the Southport Theatre and Convention Centre, with all matches up to and including the Semi-Finals to be contested over the best of 11 frames and the final best of 19.
