UK Championship Snooker 2024 | Draw, Live Scores and Schedule of Play
The 2024 UK Championship takes centre stage in York, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
The first Triple Crown event of the 2024/25 season will be played at the York Barbican Centre between November 23 and December 1, with 32 of the world’s top players competing for the top prize of £250,000.
The format for the UK Championship mirrors that of the World Championship, with the top 16 seeds joined in the main event by a further 16 qualifiers.
Ronnie O’Sullivan was the defending champion after he defeated Ding Junhui 10-7 in last year’s final to claim the title for a record-extending eighth time, though the Rocket was dethroned by Barry Hawkins on the opening day of the tournament.
Nevertheless, there are several former UK champions in the draw including three-time winners Ding, John Higgins and Neil Robertson – the latter coming through qualifying – while Mark Selby and Mark Williams have lifted the trophy on two occasions.
Among the other former winners in the field are Shaun Murphy, Judd Trump, Mark Allen, Stephen Maguire and Zhao Xintong, though the latter’s return to the big stage was brief following defeat by Murphy in round one.
World champion Kyren Wilson and Luca Brecel are more big names to look out for, while a strong group of qualifiers includes the likes of Stuart Bingham, Ryan Day, Jack Lisowski and Crucible finalist Jak Jones.
All matches up to and including the Semi-Finals are to be contested over the best of 11 frames, with the final best of 19.
