The 2025 UK Championship takes place at the York Barbican, and a live stream is available for all matches.

The first Triple Crown event of the season sees 32 of the world’s top cueists competing for a total prize fund of £1.2 million from November 29 to December 7.

The format for the UK Championship mirrors that of the World Championship, with the top 16 seeds joined in the main event by a further 16 qualifiers.

Judd Trump is the defending champion after he defeated Barry Hawkins 10-8 in a pulsating final 12 months ago.

Two-time UK Champion Trump, who also lifted the trophy in 2011, is aiming to retain his crown while claiming his maiden silverware of the calendar year.

However, he faces stiff competition from six other multiple UK Championship winners, including eight-time champion Ronnie O’Sullivan, and three-time victors John Higgins, Neil Robertson and Ding Junhui.

Mark Selby and Mark Williams have also been victorious on two occasions, while the other players to have lifted the trophy still in the draw are Mark Allen, Shaun Murphy and reigning World Champion Zhao Xintong.

World number two Kyren Wilson will be desperate to add his name to the roll of honour, as will 2024 runner-up Hawkins, with Si Jiahui, Wu Yize, Xiao Guodong and Gary Wilson comprising the remainder of the seeds.

Former Crucible semi-finalist David Gilbert, Zhang Anda and Elliot Slessor are among the qualifiers, while Julien Leclercq and 50-year-old David Lilley are appearing in the Last 32 of the event for the first time.

Matches from both tables are available to watch live online in the UK and various other regions worldwide.
