The Welsh Open takes centre stage this week, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.

The final leg of this season’s Home Nations series, the tournament will run from February 13 to 19 at Venue Cymru in Llandudno.

Each player was required to win one qualifying-round match in Barnsley in January, with the exception of the world’s top 16 and two wildcards – whose first-round games have been held over to the main venue.

Joe Perry is the reigning champion having beaten Judd Trump 9-5 in last year’s final.

Perry is one of 13 former winners in the main draw along with John Higgins and Ronnie O’Sullivan, who have triumphed five and four times respectively.

Neil Robertson, Mark Williams and Ken Doherty are the other multiple winners in action this week, while Mark Selby, Shaun Murphy, Stuart Bingham, Ali Carter, Ding Junhui and Jordan Brown have also lifted the trophy.

The usual star names will also be on display in Llandudno, including the likes of Judd Trump, Mark Allen and Kyren Wilson.

All matches up to and including the last 16 are to be contested over the best of seven frames, with quarter-finals best of nine, semi-finals best of 11 and the final best of 17.
