Snooker’s top stars return to The Crucible for the 2024 World Snooker Championship, and a live stream is available for all matches.

The sport’s annual showpiece features the world’s top 16 ranked players alongside a further 16 qualifiers as they battle it out for £2.4 million in prize money from April 20 to May 6.

A host of decorated cueists and exciting emerging talents lock horns at the sport’s spiritual home for the 48th consecutive staging in Sheffield.

Luca Brecel is the defending champion after he defeated Mark Selby 18-15 in last year’s final to claim the crown for the first time.

The Belgian ace is bidding to break the infamous ‘Crucible curse’ by becoming the first player to successfully retain the title at this venue after being crowned a first-time champion.

Ronnie O’Sullivan is another player eyeing a slice of history as he returns in search of a record-breaking eighth world title and what would be a first career seasonal Triple Crown, having also picked up the UK Championship and Masters titles this season.

Other former World Champions in this year’s line-up include four-time winners Mark Selby and John Higgins, three-time champion Mark Williams and one-time winners Judd Trump, Shaun Murphy and Stuart Bingham.

Former finalists in action include Kyren Wilson, Ding Junhui, Barry Hawkins and Ali Carter, while multiple ranking event winners including Mark Allen, Gary Wilson and Robert Milkins also feature.

Qualifiers include the likes of Hossein Vafaei, Jack Lisowski, Stephen Maguire, Si Jiahui and Ryan Day.

All matches across the 17 days are to be streamed live on desktop, mobile or tablet devices in the UK and various other regions worldwide.
