The Wuhan Open qualifiers take centre stage in Leicester this week, and you can follow the latest results and schedule here.

Returning to the WST calendar for a fourth successive year, the fourth silverware of the campaign will be lifted on August 29.

Before that, though, 112 players will compete across four rounds and four days of play from June 15-18, for the right to join the world’s top 16 at the main event.

Gary Wilson was runner-up to Xiao Guodong 12 months ago, and the Tyneside Terror’s quest to go one better begins at the back end of the week at the Mattioli Arena.

Firstly, after a couple of preliminary matches, players seeded 65th to 128th entered the tournament in the first qualifying round, including the likes of Jimmy White and Reanne Evans.

Player seeded 33rd to 64th enter in qualifying round two – including former World champion Luca Brecel, as well as rising stars Stan Moody and Jackson Page.

Wilson then enters the fray in the third qualifying round, as one of the 16 players seeded 17th to 32nd, along with the likes of Jack Lisowski, Ali Carter, Stephen Maguire and Thepchaiya Un-Nooh.

All matches are to be contested over the best of nine frames.
