The elite eight battle it out in Llandudno

The top eight players on the one-year ranking list assemble at the Tour Championship in Llandudno, and you can follow the latest results and match schedules here.

The culmination of this season’s Coral Series sees the eight highest-ranked players on the one-year list battle it out for the £150,000 title at Venue Cymru.

It is the 16th ranking event of the season and the penultimate tournament of the campaign prior to the World Championship, following the postponement of the China Open.

The Tour Championship will be played behind closed doors due to the Coronavirus outbreak following advice by the UK government.

Ronnie O’Sullivan claimed the title in 2019 with a 13-11 victory over Neil Robertson in the final but will not be on hand to defend the trophy after failing to break into the top eight on the one-year list.

The field is led by world number one and six-time ranking event winner this season – Judd Trump, with last year’s runner-up Robertson aiming to go one better.

Former World Champions Mark Selby, John Higgins and Shaun Murphy also feature, as do UK Champion Ding Junhui and Players Championship finalist Yan Bingtao.

Mark Allen, a four-time ranking event semi-finalist this season, is seeded number seven.

The tournament runs from March 17-22, with each match will be played over a minimum of two sessions – three for the final.

Quarter-Finals will be contested over the best of 17 frames, with Semi-Finals best of 19 and the final best of 27.

Trump currently leads the Coral Cup standings with £132,500 ahead of Robertson on £100,000. The leader of the final Coral Cup standings will pocket a £100,000 bonus.
