Snooker returns to Asia for the 2022 Hong Kong Masters, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.

The invitational event, last held in 2017, takes place from October 3-9 and will feature eight players competing for a lucrative top prize of £100,000.

The elite field of players includes home favourites Ng On Yee and Marco Fu plus the top six in the world rankings at the start of the season: Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, Mark Selby, Neil Robertson, John Higgins and Mark Williams.

Aussie ace Robertson claimed the title in 2017 with a 6-3 victory over O’Sullivan in the final.

The event is set to feature a record crowd of around 9,000 fans at the Hong Kong Coliseum and it is the first snooker event to be held in Asia since 2019.

The current record for the sport’s biggest live televised audience is around 3,000, but that figure is expected to be trebled this week.

Quarter-Final matches are to be contested over the best of nine frames, while the Semi-Finals and final are best of 11.
