Kyren Wilson and Neil Robertson face off in the Masters quarter-finals, and what promises to be a Friday night thriller at Alexandra Palace.

The last of the semi-final places will be snapped up as the world number two takes on the world number three, for the right to play Wu Yize on Semi-Final Saturday.

Robertson has prevailed in each of their two previous meetings this season, both of which also came in invitational events at the Riyadh Season Championship and the Championship League last week.

The Australian, who lifted the Paul Hunter trophy in 2012 and 2022, is aiming to become the seventh three-time winner of this tournament.

Robertson already has the joint second-most centuries in Masters history, having moved level with Stephen Hendry on 46 after making three during his comfortable 6-2 victory over Chris Wakelin in round one.

He is now gearing up for his 13th quarter-final, and looks to reach the last four for a sixth time.

As for Wilson, he is bidding to finally get his name on the Paul Hunter trophy, having narrowly missed out in the 2018 and 2025 finals.

The Warrior, who has endured recent cue troubles, made a purposeful start to his 10th successive Masters campaign, hitting breaks of 105, 101 and 80 during a 6-2 win over Si Jiahui.

That booked his place in the last eight for the sixth time, and he has gone on to reach the showpiece following his two previous appearances in the semi-finals at Alexandra Palace.

It is a battle between the two-time champion and the two-time finalist, with Wu awaiting the winner following his 6-0 whitewash of compatriot and good friend Xiao Guodong earlier on Friday.

The match breaks off at 7pm GMT and will be contested over the best of 11 frames at Alexandra Palace.
