Masters Snooker returns to Alexandra Palace in 2022, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
The star-studded tournament sees the world’s top 16 cueists competing from January 9-16 for £725,000 in prize money and the iconic Paul Hunter Trophy.
An ever-present on the snooker calendar since 1975, the Masters has provided some of the most iconic moments in the sport’s history and returns to Ally Pally this year after being held behind closed doors in Milton Keynes in 2021.
Yan Bingtao is the defending champion after he defeated John Higgins 10-8 in last year’s final to claim his first Triple Crown title in his debut appearance in the event.
Yan heads to Ally Pally as the number one seed as he bids to become only the fifth player to successfully defend the Masters title.
Ronnie O’Sullivan holds the record for the most Masters titles, having won the tournament seven times, finishing runner-up on a further six occasions.
Mark Selby is on the hunt for a fourth Masters title and John Higgins and Mark Williams have both lifted this trophy on two previous occasions.
Other former champions in this year’s line-up include Judd Trump, Neil Robertson, Mark Allen, Shaun Murphy and Stuart Bingham.
Newly-crowned UK Championship winner Zhao Xintong is the sole debutant in this year’s line-up.
All matches up to and including the Semi-Finals are to be contested over the best of 11 frames, with the final best of 19.
