The 2023 Masters has reached the quarter-final stage with several big names already falling at Alexandra Palace.
Reigning champion Neil Robertson, who sealed his second Masters title with victory over Barry Hawkins in the 2022 final, was beaten by Shaun Murphy in round one, while the likes of Mark Selby, John Higgins and Mark Allen were also sent packing.
Seven-time winner Ronnie O’Sullivan followed after a dramatic 6-5 defeat to Mark Williams, who subsequently advanced to meet Judd Trump in this year’s final.
When is the Masters Snooker?
The 2023 tournament started on Sunday, January 8, with this year’s final scheduled for Sunday, January 15.
