The 2025 Shanghai Masters takes centre stage this week, and a live stream is available to watch live online.
Sixteen of the world’s top players – along with the four next-best Chinese players and four amateur wildcards – descend on Luwan Gymnasium for the 16th staging of the popular invitational event.
The tournament will take place between July 28 and August 3 with £825,000 in prize money on offer, including £210,000 for the winner.
Judd Trump is the reigning champion after beating Shaun Murphy 11-5 in the 2024 final, and began his title defence with a purposeful 6-2 victory over Neil Robertson in round one.
The Ace is joined by five-time winner Ronnie O’Sullivan and two-time victor Ding Junhui, while Kyren Wilson, Mark Selby, John Higgins and Ali Carter – a late replacement for Mark Allen – are the other players in the draw whose names occupy the roll of honour.
World champion Zhao Xintong makes his first appearance as the reigning Crucible king, with Mark Williams and Barry Hawkins among the other big names on display in 2025.
