Judd Trump goes head to head with Shaun Murphy in a blockbuster 2026 German Masters final at the Tempodrom in Berlin on Sunday.
Two of the most attacking players in the game do battle for the top prize of £100,000, and the right to lift the Brandon Parker trophy.
Trump is aiming to do just that for a record-extending fourth time, while 2015 finalist Murphy is aiming to go one better and add his name to the roll of honour.
The Magician won his most recent meeting with the Ace, prevailing 4-3 on his way to glory at the British Open, though that did end a streak of eight straight defeats.
Trump will be hoping one of his favourite venues is the scene for the end of his silverware drought stretching back to the 2024 UK Championship.
The world number one is appearing in his fourth final this season, having been runner-up at the Northern Ireland Open, Champion of Champions and UK Championship, while this is his 52nd career ranking showpiece.
A German Masters champion in 2020, 2021 and 2024 – and a beaten finalist in 2014 – a pair of whitewashes over Ka Wai Cheung and Ryan Day, followed by wins over Si Jiahui, Xiao Guodong and Ali Carter, have moved him one more win away from lifting the trophy for a fourth time.
Trump has also prevailed in two of the three finals he has contested with Murphy, most recently a commanding 11-5 triumph at the 2024 Shanghai Masters.
The Magician will be eager to avenge that result in his 29th ranking showpiece but, more importantly, to get his hands on the trophy named after his late former manager.
After his Masters title defence fell at the first hurdle, Murphy has responded in sublime fashion this week, hitting a tournament high of eight centuries along the way.
The world number seven has also got stronger as the week has progressed. After opening with a 5-2 win over Zak Surety and 5-1 success against Julien Leclercq, he whitewashed Mark Allen, before routing defending champion Kyren Wilson and Neil Robertson for the loss of just two frames.

The match breaks off at 1pm GMT on Sunday with the opening eight frames, before playing to a conclusion from 7pm.
