John Higgins v Kyren Wilson live stream | International Championship 2026 Final preview
John Higgins looks to become the oldest ranking event winner when he faces Kyren Wilson in the International Championship final on Saturday.
One of the all-time greats locks horns with the man in form in the Nanjing showpiece, with a top prize of £175,000 up for grabs over the best of 19 frames.
It is a repeat of the Masters final at the start of this year, which Wilson won 10-6 to complete part two of a potential career Triple Crown.
Higgins will now seek revenge as he bids for his 34th ranking title, and second International Championship crown.
Champion in 2015, the Scotsman also reached the final 12 months ago, losing out to Wu Yize, who enjoyed his breakthrough triumph before going on to win the World Championship later in the season.
Higgins’ 61st ranking final appearance was secured in vintage fashion on Friday, as he hit three centuries on the way to a 9-2 rout of Chang Bingyu.
The Wizard has also compiled a 146 break and defeated the likes of Mark Williams and Marco Fu this week, to move within one more win of history.
Standing in his way is a player aiming to make it back-to-back ranking titles in Wilson.
The Warrior secured his return to the ranking event winners’ circle at the Northern Ireland Open last time out, surviving the carnage that saw his rivals toppled in the earlier rounds in Belfast.
Wilson appeared on course for an early exit at 5-3 down against Liam Highfield in the opening round, during which he threw cue his cue on the table in frustration.
However, he recovered to prevail 6-5 and also came through a deciding frame against Oliver Lines, with those victories sandwiching a 6-1 rout of Ryan Day.
The reigning Masters champion then overcame Ding Junhui 6-4 – ending his hopes of climbing into the top 16 ahead of the UK Championship – before defeating Fan Zhengyi 9-6 to extend his ongoing winning streak to 11 matches.
Wilson now looks to add his name to the International Championship roll of honour, on which Higgins could become the fourth different player to see his name appear twice – after Ding, Mark Selby and Judd Trump.
The match breaks off at 6am GMT (2pm local time) on Saturday, before playing to a conclusion from 11.30am (7.30pm local time).
