The 2025 Players Championship takes centre stage in Telford, and you can follow all the latest results and schedule of play here.

The build-up to the season’s climax continues with the second event of the 2024-25 Players Series, with the top 16 players on the one-year ranking list vying for the top prize of £150,000.

For the second year running, the elite tournament will be held at the Telford International Centre from March 17-23.

Mark Allen is the defending champion after beating Zhang Anda 10-8 in the 2024 final, and the Pistol will be looking to land his first ranking silverware of this season.

Allen is joined by fellow former champions Judd Trump, John Higgins, Neil Robertson and Shaun Murphy, while Barry Hawkins and Ding Junhui also triumphed in this event when it was entitled the Players Tour Championship Finals.

Reigning World champion Kyren Wilson will be eager to add his name to the roll of honour, as will Mark Selby and Mark Williams.

Wuhan Open champion Xiao Guodong and Scottish Open winner Lei Peifan make their debuts in the elite event having landed their maiden ranking titles this term, while Si Jiahui and Wu Yize also make their bows after impressive campaigns.

Matches up to and including the semi-finals will be played over the best of 11 frames, with the final contested over the best of 19.
