The Players Championship returns to Telford in 2026, and you can follow all the latest results and schedule of play here.
Once again, the top 16 players on the one-year list descend on Telford International Centre for the elite tournament, which takes place between February 17-22.
It is the second event of the 2025-26 Players Series, with a top prize of £150,000 on offer to the winner.
Kyren Wilson is the reigning champion after beating Judd Trump 10-9 in the 2025 final, but the Warrior has failed to qualify for this year’s event, so will not defend his title.
Two-time champion Trump, who lifted this trophy in 2017 and 2020, is joined in a star-studded field by fellow former winners Neil Robertson, Shaun Murphy, Mark Allen and John Higgins – a replacement for the withdrawn Ronnie O’Sullivan.
Mark Selby, Mark Williams and reigning World champion Zhao Xintong are among the other big names aiming to add their name to the roll of honour.
Barry Hawkins and Zhang Anda are former finalists of this event, while 11th seed Elliot Slessor makes his debut this year.
Joining him are International Championship winner Wu Yize and Scottish Open champion Chris Wakelin, along with Northern Ireland Open victor Jack Lisowski.
Xiao Guodong, who defended his Wuhan Open crown earlier this season, is also in the draw, with English Open finalist Zhou Yuelong completing the field.
Matches up to and including the semi-finals will be played over the best of 11 frames, with the final contested over the best of 19.
