The 2021 Players Championship takes place at the Marshall Arena from February 22-28 and is the eleventh ranking event of the season.
The seedings are conducted based on the one-year ranking list up to and including the Welsh Open.
Number one seed Judd Trump is the defending champion after he defeated Yan Bingtao 10-4 in last year’s final.
Two-time champion Ronnie O’Sullivan is also in action as he looks to bounce back from last Sunday’s defeat in the Welsh Open final.
Newly-crowned Welsh Open champion Jordan Brown is making his Players Championship debut as the number seven seed.
UK Champion Neil Robertson, Scottish Open champion Mark Selby and World Championship finalist Kyren Wilson are also in action.
