The World Snooker Tour returns to China for the rebranded Shenzhen Open, and and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
Formerly known as the Xi’an Grand Prix for the previous two editions, the tournament has been renamed and relocated to Bao’an Sports Centre, and will be held from September 28 to October 4.
Most of the players on the tour had to come through at least two rounds of qualifying in Leicester in July, though all matches involving the top 16 were heldover to the main venue.
Mark Williams was the reigning champion after beating Shaun Murphy 10-3 in last year’s final to become the oldest ranking event winner in snooker history.
However, his title defence fell at the first hurdle 12 months on, following a defeat by Fan Zhengyi in the opening round.
Ronnie O’Sullivan also suffered an early exit in Shenzhen, as did world number one and home favourite Zhao Xintong.
Nevertheless, there are still plenty of star names to enjoy, including Judd Trump, Neil Robertson, Mark Selby, John Higgins and World champion Wu Yize.
All matches up to and including the quarter-finals are to be contested over the best of nine frames, while the semi-finals are the best of 11, and the final best of 19.
