Former World Champions Judd Trump and Stuart Bingham go head-to-head in a mouth-watering Quarter-Final at The Crucible.
The decorated duo are bidding to join an elite group of multiple World Champions and face off at the sport’s spiritual home for the second time.
Bingham famously prevailed 17-16 in an epic Semi-Final on his way to claiming the title in 2015 and is looking to reach the one-table setup for the second successive year.
The world number 12 has banished a below-par season by once again coming good on the biggest stage of all, defeating Lyu Haotian 10-5 and 2020 finalist Kyren Wilson 13-9 to reach his fourth Crucible Quarter-Final.
His win over Wilson saw him produce a timely late burst of four consecutive frames in the final session, threatening a maximum with 13 reds and 12 blacks along the way.
Trump, meanwhile, finds himself in a fifth consecutive Quarter-Final in Sheffield, having overcome Iranian debutant Hossein Vafaei and 2020 semi-finalist Anthony McGill despite being below his best for the most part so far.
Winner of the Champion of Champions and Turkish Masters this season, the 2019 World Champion will be aiming to go through the gears as the tournament reaches its business end.
Trump has won 12 of his 19 previous meetings with Bingham, including the 2017 European Masters final, and is out to avoid a third consecutive exit at this stage of the World Championship.
The match gets under way from 2.30pm BST on Tuesday April 26 for a maximum of eight frames, resuming from 10am on Wednesday before being played to a finish over the best of 25 frames from 7pm.
Either three-time World Champion Mark Williams or former Masters Champion Yan Bingtao will await the winner in the Semi-Finals.
