The Riyadh Season Snooker Championship returns in 2025, and a live stream is available for all matches.
The World Snooker Tour is back in Saudi Arabia for the third staging of the lucrative invitational, with the world’s top 10 players (after the Xi’an Grand Prix) joining two local wildcards at the Global Theatre in Boulevard City from November 19-21.
A top prize of £250,000 is on offer to the winner, which will be played under traditional snooker rules, but with the introduction of a new gold ball – the Riyadh Season ball – worth 20 points.
This means players will have the opportunity to compile a break of 167 by potting the golden ball, which will be positioned at the centre of the baulk cushion, for a bumper prize of $1million – but only after completing a 147. Once the 147 is no longer possible, the additional ball will be removed from the table.
Mark Allen is the reigning champion after beating Luca Brecel 5-1 in the final of the 2024-25 event.
The Pistol’s title defence faces competition from the likes of world number one Judd Trump, World champion Zhao Xintong and Ronnie O’Sullivan.
Five more former Crucible kings are involved in a stellar line-up – Kyren Wilson, John Higgins, Mark Williams, Neil Robertson and Shaun Murphy – along with Ding Junhui, while local wildcards Ziyad Al-Qabbani and Ayman Alamri complete the 12-man field.
A live stream of all matches will be available on laptop, mobile and tablet devices in the UK and various other regions worldwide.
