English Open Snooker 2026 | Draw, Results and Schedule of Play
The Home Nations Series begins with the English Open in Brentwood, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
For a fifth straight year, 64 of the world’s best players descend on the Brentwood Centre between September 7-13, with the Steve Davis trophy and a top prize of £100,000 up for grabs.
The top 32 players were seeded straight through to the main venue, while the remaining 96 players came through at least one qualifying match in Leicester back in June.
Mark Allen is the reigning champion after his dramatic 9-8 victory over Zhou Yuelong in last year’s final. However, the Pistol will not defend his title, having withdrawn from the event due to personal reasons.
Ronnie O’Sullivan and John Higgins have also withdrawn from the tournament, but there are still plenty of star names on display in Brentwood.
They include two-time champions Judd Trump, Mark Selby and Neil Robertson, while 2018 victor Stuart Bingham is the other former winner in this year’s draw.
World number one Zhao Xintong and reigning Crucible king Wu Yize – a 2024 finalist here – are among the rest of the pack aiming to join the roll of honour, along with Mark Williams, Shaun Murphy and 2017 runner-up Kyren Wilson.
The rest of last season’s Home Nations winners are also in action in Northern Ireland Open champion Jack Lisowski, while Chris Wakelin and Barry Hawkins triumphed at the Scottish Open and Welsh Open respectively.
All matches up to and including the Last 16 are to be contested over the best of seven frames, while the quarter-Finals and semi-finals are the best of 11, and the final best of 17.
