The 19th staging of the German Masters features 64 players competing for a total prize fund of £550,000 at the Tempodrom from January 27 to February 2.
It is the 12th ranking event of the season and sees a top prize of £100,000 on offer, as well as a place in November’s Champion of Champions.
Judd Trump is the defending champion after he defeated Si Jiahui 10-5 in last year’s final to claim the title for a record third time.
Trump, who also claimed glory in 2020 and 2021, is among a star-studded field which also includes former champions Ali Carter, Kyren Wilson, Mark Williams and Mark Selby.
Newly-crowned Masters champion Shaun Murphy returns to action, and is joined by the likes of John Higgins, Neil Robertson, Mark Allen and Luca Brecel.
Former champion Ronnie O’Sullivan has withdrawn from the event due to ‘medical reasons’, while former champion Ding Junhui also withdrew.
