Snooker Shoot Out 2023 | Finals Preview and Order of Play
Mark Allen and Kyren Wilson remain in contention for a first Shoot Out title as the competition draws to a dramatic climax on Saturday.
Just 16 players remain at the Swansea Arena, including three of the world’s top 16 and two former winners, with the last man standing set to land the top prize of Β£50,000.
It is now 10 years since Allen finished as runner-up to Martin Gould in this event at the Blackpool Tower. A decade on, the top seed is aiming to go the extra step and his quest to do so resumes against fellow left-hander Oliver Lines.
Meanwhile, Wilson has entertained the Swansea crowd by introducing a selection of gloves during his matches.
The Warrior donned a white one during the latter stages of his victory over David Lilley in the third round, while also briefly performing a moonwalk in tribute to the late Michael Jackson.

He will be hoping to generate more giggles when he takes on last season’s Crucible semi-finalist Si Jiahui, as Ali Carter takes on 2015 champion Michael White.
Dominic Dale is the other former winner of this title still standing, the Spaceman triumphing in 2014.
In trademark fashion, the two-time ranking event winner has performed a song following each of his three victories so far, the most recent a rendition of Bing Crosby’s White Christmas after he beat 2020 runner-up Zhou Yuelong earlier on Saturday.
Dale opens the evening against Ukrainian youngster Iulian Boiko while Jimmy Robertson – the other remaining ranking event winner – taking on Elliot Slessor.
