Snooker Shoot Out 2023 | Day Four Preview and Order of Play
Mark Williams and Jack Lisowski are among the players aiming to be the last man standing on the final day of the Snooker Shoot Out.
The remaining 32 players must win five matches at the Morningside Arena on Saturday in order to pocket the top prize of £50,000.
Williams and Lisowski are the only top-16 players still left in the draw, along with four former champions, while 22 of the players remain in line for their maiden ranking title.
World number seven Williams, who was runner-up to Hossein Vafaei 12 months ago, takes on Dechawat Poomjaeng in what promises to be an entertaining encounter.
The maverick Thai, who has delighted the Leicester crowd this week, overcame compatriot Thepchaiya Un-Nooh to secure his first appearance in the last 32 of a ranking event since 2016.
Six-time ranking finalist Lisowski’s latest quest for maiden glory resumes against Mark Davis, who is targeting another scalp having already taken out Mark Selby and Shaun Murphy.
Michael Holt produced the highest break of the tournament with a stunning 116 in his first-round win over Lei Peifan. The 2020 champion – and 2019 runner-up – faces Fan Zhengyi, while 2014 winner Dominic Dale locks horns with Asjad Iqbal.
Martin Gould, who lifted this trophy in 2013, takes on Liam Highfield, as 2015 victor Michael White plays Alexander Ursenbacher.
Elsewhere, home favourite Tom Ford looks to deny 14-year-old Vladislav Gradinari, who earlier this week became the youngest player to win a televised match at a ranking event, with 2020 finalist Zhou Yuelong up against Scottish Open champion Gary Wilson.
Joe Perry and Ali Carter play Chris Wakelin and Cao Yupeng respectively, while Ben Woollaston goes head to head with Daniel Wells.
Play gets underway at 1pm GMT on Saturday with all matches contested over a single frame at the Morningside Arena in Leicester.
