Trump locks horns with Page in Yushan (Credit: Action Plus Sports Images/Alamy Live News)

Judd Trump continues his quest for a third World Open title with an eye-catching Last 32 clash against Jackson Page on Wednesday.

Just 32 players remain at Yushan Sport Centre, with world number one Trump joined by the likes of Ronnie O’Sullivan, Kyren Wilson, Mark Williams and reigning Crucible king Zhao Xintong.

The Ace, who lifted this trophy in 2019 and 2024, has dropped just two frames in his opening two matches this week.

Trump has recorded back-to-back 5-1 victories over Mark Lloyd and Florian Nuessle, hitting three centuries and a further five breaks over 70 along the way.

He now looks to maintain his perfect record against fellow attacking player Page, who has lost all five of their previous encounters.

O’Sullivan also bids to register a sixth straight win over Matthew Selt, while World champion Zhao takes on Sam Craigie.

World number two Wilson faces Allan Taylor as Williams locks horns with Hossein Vafaei, and a tasty showdown pits Mark Allen against fellow left-hander Jack Lisowski.

Former World champions Shaun Murphy and Stuart Bingham face local favourites in Xu Si and Wu Yize respectively, while Luca Brecel goes up against Artemijs Zizins.

Stan Moody’s reward for dethroning reigning champion John Higgins is a showdown with Ryan Day, as Xiao Guodong goes head to head with compatriot Zhang Anda.

Gary Wilson plays Ian Burns and Marco Fu takes on Martin O’Donnell, while former Shoot Out champions Thepchaiya Un-Nooh and Michael Holt lock horns.

There is also an all-Chinese showdown between Zhou Yuelong and Xu Yichen, and a battle of the left-handers with Robbie Williams and Daniel Wells facing off.

Play gets under way at 6am GMT (2pm local time) on Wednesday with all matches contested over the best of nine frames at Yushan Sport Centre.
