Kyren Wilson continues life as the reigning World champion when he faces He Guoqiang in the Xi’an Grand Prix last 64 on Tuesday.

Ronnie O’Sullivan, Mark Allen and Mark Selby are also in action on day two at Qujiang E-sports Centre, where the last-32 lineup will be completed by the conclusion of play.

The Warrior is the top seed at the inaugural edition of this event following his Crucible triumph back in May.

He was brought back down to earth somewhat by a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Zhou Yuelong at last month’s Shanghai Masters, but ensured he did not fall at the first hurdle here with a 5-2 win over Pakistan’s Haris Tahir on Monday.

Next up for Wilson is a showdown with local favourite He – and a quarter-finalist at last year’s British Open.

Meanwhile, O’Sullivan looks to build on his 5-0 whitewash of Wang Yuchen when he plays reigning WSF World Junior champion Bulcsu Revesz – snooker’s first professional from Hungary.

World number one Allen goes up against David Lilley while Selby faces a potential banana skin in Aaron Hill, who beat him at this stage of the Welsh Open earlier this year.

Shaun Murphy and Zhang Anda are the other top-16 players in action on day two. Murphy locks horns with Jamie Clarke as reigning International Championship winner Zhang takes on former Crucible king Graeme Dott.

Two more former World champions – Neil Robertson and Stuart Bingham – play Yuan Sijun and Jamie Jones respectively, with Hossein Vafaei taking on Dylan Emery.

Ricky Walden, whose three ranking titles have all come in China, takes on fellow former Crucible semi-finalist Anthony McGill, whose compatriot Stephen Maguire goes head to head with Xiao Guodong.

Play gets under way at 7.30am BST (2.30pm local time) on Tuesday with all matches contested over the best of nine frames at Qujiang E-sports Centre.
